India is a land of festivals, there are lots of festivals celebrated across the span of India. But in times of the ongoing pandemic there has been a curb in celebration of these festivals. And in these difficult times not the traditional-cultural festivals but the sporting festivals have come to our rescue. One such festival, the cricketing festival IPL has just concluded and now its time for footballing festival ISL to begin. 


Football was the first competitive sports to played in India after uplifting of restrictions and now ISL is  the first competitive league
to be played in India in bio-secure bubble in Goa.

Football is the biggest sport in the world has gained immense popularity in India due to beginning of ISL and pumping of money which had attracted lots of foreign stars. Many top footballers like Alessandro Del Piero, Roberto Carlos, Roberto Pieres, Diego Forlan, Andrea Pirlo all have come and played in India which has attracted lots of fans to the stadium. Not only them but many former and current European and South American ply their trade in ISL. Due to coming of these football superstars popularity of football has grown manifolds in India.


  ISL not only promoted football in India but also helped in growing and nurturing Indian football talents. There are many players who are selected in Indian team due to proving their worth in ISL against quality foreigners. Not only this ISL also helped in creating a larger pool of young talents for Indian team. This has not only increased competitive nature of league but also helped Indian team for all round improvement.

ISL the biggest football league in India is playing its part promoting football in India and now its our turn to do the same. The way we support European clubs if in a similar way we start supporting and promoting our Indian clubs, it will not only grow football as sports in India but also increase morale of Indian players. All this will help to improve Indian team to perform better and win International trophies.
